The purpose of the Heroes Memorial is to recognize brave men and women of the Armed Forces, law enforcement, and fire agencies whom sacrificed their lives for the citizens, nation, state, and local agencies represented. 

The memorial will feature three aircraft that signify the military, law enforcement, and fire services and the intent of the founders and committee members is to recognize all Siskiyou County citizens or residents who sacrificed their lives as a service member, law enforcement official, or firefighter here or elsewhere in the line of duty.
